- The Correx impressed current anode was developed for the cathodic corrosion protection of storage tanks. Unlike magnesium anodes with their limited lifespan, the impressed current anode operates maintenance-free. The intelligent electronic circuitry, which automatically adjusts the required protective current to the tank's current needs via potentiostatic switching, allows the impressed current anode to be used regardless of water quality. The impressed current anode set consists of a titanium electrode, which is installed inside the storage tank, and a potentiostat, which is connected to both the titanium electrode and the tank via a connecting cable.
