The function:
The heat exchanger (A) consists of two chambers connected in series (yellow line symbolizes the separation). The flow switch (B) activates the buffer pump (C). The hot buffer water is directed into the first chamber (red line) via the thermostatic valve (D). The buffer water, cooled in the first chamber, is used to mix the water at the thermostatic valve (orange line) to maintain the set maximum buffer temperature while water is being drawn. Only the amount of water required to maintain the set mixing temperature is drawn from the buffer while water is being drawn – similar to an injection system. Depending on the draw-off rate and buffer temperature, the "injection water quantity" ranges from almost zero to 100 percent. The "injection quantity" drawn during operation flows through the connection between the first and second chambers (E) into the second half of the heat exchanger (blue line), where it is further cooled by the incoming cold water flowing in the opposite direction.
Circulation:
The circulation unit is permanently mounted on the station and integrated into the control system with plug-and-play functionality (in version Z with circulation).
The only thing that needs to be provided on-site is the circulation pump.
