Together with the BL220F or BL220Fi exhaust air safety switch, it forms a safety system for monitoring the differential pressure between the room where the fireplace is located and the connecting piece (chimney) or the outside atmosphere during simultaneous operation of a ventilation system such as a range hood, cooktop extractor, or residential ventilation system with an open fireplace. Due to potentially problematic weather conditions, it is recommended to also use a BL220Temp (temperature sensor).
