• Since September 26, 2015, according to the ERP Directive, old standard-efficiency boilers may only be replaced by modern condensing boilers. An exception applies to individual apartment heating systems that have a shared flue system, making the use of condensing boilers technically impossible. This exception applies to heating boilers up to a maximum of 10 kW or combination boilers (integrated hot water preparation via plate heat exchanger) up to a maximum of 30 kW.
