How a hydraulic separator works:
Hydraulic separators are used when one or more heat generator circuits (with their own pump) and one or more consumer circuits (with their own distribution pump) are operated in a system.
Under such operating conditions, the pumps can interfere with each other, potentially leading to unintended changes in flow rate and delivery head. Hydraulic separators decouple the individual circuits hydraulically, allowing them to operate independently.
