The E3 tungsten electrodes (purple) are versatile. Their advantages are particularly evident when welding steel, stainless steel, copper, and brass in low and medium current ranges. Aluminum can also be welded in AC mode. Unlike thoriated electrodes, these electrodes are not radioactive. They are characterized by good ignition properties and uniform weld seams. They are suitable for automated welding.
