The EventAir 2.0 ventilation unit is a decentralized ventilation system for controlled room ventilation with heat recovery. Using multiple units in pairs allows for the ventilation of entire residential units or buildings. When operating with heat recovery, the ventilation unit works in two time intervals. In the first interval (exhaust air phase), the exhaust air is drawn out of the room via the ventilation unit. The air flows through the ceramic heat exchanger inside the unit, warming it. In the second interval (supply air phase), the ventilation unit reverses the direction of airflow, and fresh outside air is drawn into the room. This air flows through the heat exchanger, which releases the previously stored heat back into the room. In this way, heat recovery of up to 99% is achieved. The principle of charging and discharging a heat exchanger is known as regenerative heat transfer. When a single unit is operating, a positive pressure (supply air phase) or negative pressure (exhaust air phase) is created in the room being ventilated, depending on the operating phase. To ensure a balanced ratio between supply and exhaust air volume, the use of EventAir 2.0 units in pairs is recommended. The EventAir 2.0 control system allows for the simultaneous operation of up to three pairs of units.
