Askoheat heating elements are generally suitable for PV systems, but only depending on the control system installed on site. When used in hard water, measures to reduce limescale buildup, or descaling of the heating coil (initially after 3 months, then at regular intervals), must be carried out. Limescale can trigger the safety limiter, cause thermal damage, or lead to pitting corrosion of the heating coil, thus voiding the warranty! • For heating domestic hot water and heating water • With temperature controller/limiter combination • Unheated zone: 70 mm • For bolt circle diameter 210 mm / 12xM12 • Suitable for continuous operation • Setting range: 15°C-95°C • To control the controller and the limiter, an external power contactor must be installed on-site.
