  • For flue gas temperature monitoring of solid fuel boilers in bivalent operation with oil-fired boilers
  • works on the principle of rod expansion
  • The immersion tube and a metal rod arranged inside it have different coefficients of expansion, resulting in a temperature-dependent difference in length between them.
  • They act via a translation mechanism on a microswitch, which is activated above a set limit temperature.
  • After the immersion tube cools by approximately 1030 K, the microswitch is reset.
  • In the event of a dip tube rupture, the electrical circuit is permanently opened.
