• Drive with EPEA control (single-pole switching).

When heat is required, the controller contact closes, RLY1 energizes and closes the NO contact of switch SW3. This closes terminal B and opens terminal A. When A is fully open, the cam closes switch SW1 and opens SW2.

Once the heat demand is met, the controller contact opens. RLY1 drops out and the NC contact in SW3 closes. When connection A is completely closed, cam SW2 closes and SW1 opens. The valve is now ready for the next heat demand.

• In the event of a power failure, the valve remains in its current position for both drive types. When the power is restored, the valve responds to the controller state.
